OpenAI CEO Reveals GPT-6 Will Enhance User Memory and Personalization
According to ChainCatcher, CNBC reports that OpenAI CEO Sam Altman has announced that GPT-6 will be launched at an accelerated pace, with core features including enhanced memory capabilities and support for users to customize the personality and tone of chatbots.
Altman stated that the memory function is the most important upgrade this year, and future products will automatically adjust based on user preferences and habits. He also revealed that OpenAI is working with psychologists to optimize the experience and will comply with U.S. government requirements to ensure AI systems remain neutral and customizable.
In addition, Altman pointed out that GPT-5 was criticized by users for its cold tone and has since been quietly updated to a warmer version. He emphasized that privacy protection and data encryption still need to be strengthened.
