According to ChainCatcher, Elon Musk tweeted that the male character among Grok’s humanoid companions will be named Valentine. The name is inspired by the protagonist of Robert A. Heinlein’s novel "Stranger in a Strange Land." He added that the term "Grok" also originates from this novel, meaning "to understand something deeply and empathetically."
