In light of the @BitgetWallet FOMO Thursday campaign of trading $TPS on Bitget Swap, I wanted to share discuss a bit about: 1. by trading $TPS, what exactly you're trading 2. why the TPS token is an important step stone for the Trends platform long term On point no.1: for those who trade $TPS, you're trading a social post, a moment (and an important one) when Trends Points launches, a belief that Trends Points will be valuable. On point no.2: $TPS is not an abstract concept - it's a tokenized social post with historical importance. Hence a community can rally around it - around the belief that @trendsdotfun can ultimately be a widely adopted social protocol, and around the notion that the launch of Trends Points is the genesis moment of everything. In a world where more and more people start to believe that everything trades, people still need to see that a social post can worth $1b, and we are here to prove it. Last but not least, while I constantly argue that certain content can be coined and could be traded well (because potential consensus and community , I absolutely disagree that all content should be coined. Certain content that is highly news worthy and have an explosive traffic over a few hours, is likely better engaged on chain with gamification mechanism (investing in this tweet at x likes) rather than with coins. But let's keep this 👀 for now and we'll talk about it more in October :) trend is good

PvE means outside $$ coming in. You need perp traders getting fomo, you need technologists coming in to buy $GOAT, you need your uncle buying $TRUMP, you need a marginal buyer and a lot of them before it becomes PvE again. I don't see that quite yet.
