Tether launches decentralized password manager PearPass, eliminating cloud dependency
ChainCatcher reported that Tether has launched the open-source password manager PearPass, which uses end-to-end encryption and peer-to-peer device synchronization. Recovery is based on the user's key, and all credentials are stored only locally, never on the cloud or servers. According to the official statement, it has passed an independent security audit by Secfault Security and is available for free cross-platform use.
