Frontera Labs Secures $3M Seed Round for Strata Protocol, Unveiling Decentralized Risk-Layering With Tokenized Risk-Return Profiles
Frontera Labs, the Strata protocol creator, has closed a $3 million seed round led by Maven 11 Capital, with participation from Lightspeed Faction, Halo Capital, Heartcore Capital, Anchorage Digital Ventures, Nayt Technologies, Split Capital, and other investors, according to COINOTAG News citing CoinDesk on December 16.
The Strata platform represents a decentralized risk layering framework that packages on-chain and off-chain revenue strategies into tokenized risk layering products, with each layer offering a distinct risk-return profile to suit varied market conditions.
Analysts view the seed financing as a sign of growing crypto funding appetite for structured risk tools. The protocol seeks to enable flexible exposure across layers while upholding governance and capital-efficiency principles within the DeFi ecosystem.
