The focus will now shift to building MPC tools and providing support for developers, driving the creation of more native UTXO applications on Solana.

December 13, 2025—Following the official launch of the newly integrated Zeus App on December 9, Zeus Network unveiled its next phase development roadmap at Solana Breakpoint 2025.

Justin Wang, CEO and Founder of Zeus Network, officially introduced in his keynote speech the institutional-grade MPC infrastructure that Zeus is building. This infrastructure is specifically designed for Bitcoin and UTXO native assets, using Solana as the execution layer, with the goal of driving the formation of a new generation of on-chain capital markets. Zeus will focus on professional institutions that hold or reserve Bitcoin and other UTXO assets, providing scalable and institution-grade custody and execution solutions.

Justin Wang pointed out that Zeus is moving from the application layer further down to the underlying infrastructure, filling the long-standing critical gap in BTCFi—custody and signature infrastructure that meets both the needs of the UTXO ecosystem and native execution on Solana—fully unlocking the potential for Bitcoin and UTXO assets to enter the on-chain capital market.

From Integrated Applications to UTXO Infrastructure

Earlier this week, Zeus announced the integration of its three major products—APOLLO, btcSOL, and Zeus Delegator—into a single platform, the Zeus App. Users can now mint zBTC, earn yields, stake, and manage delegation rewards all within one interface, greatly simplifying the user experience.

This integration marks an important milestone in Zeus’s BTCFi development journey. Over the past year, Zeus has successfully brought Bitcoin liquidity into the Solana DeFi ecosystem, with on-chain deployed Bitcoin liquidity peaking at 513 BTC, establishing Zeus as the core productive infrastructure for Bitcoin on Solana.

Breakpoint 2025 represents a brand new starting point built on this foundation.

Justin Wang stated that the Zeus App serves as the entry point for general users, while the next phase will shift Zeus’s focus to professional institutions that hold or reserve Bitcoin and other UTXO assets, as well as those highly interested in this area. By solving key issues in custody and UTXO native execution, Zeus aims to enable Bitcoin and various UTXO assets to truly achieve scalable operations on Solana, fully unlocking their yield potential in the on-chain capital market.

The Key Bottleneck of Institutional-Grade Custody

With increasing adoption, Zeus has observed a clear limitation: most Bitcoin and UTXO native assets remain idle for long periods, constrained by high costs, closed systems, poor integration, and custody solutions that are not designed for UTXO signatures or native execution on Solana.

Justin Wang pointed out that unless this layer is thoroughly restructured, BTCFi will struggle to truly reach institutional scale.

To address this, Zeus is developing a UTXO-native MPC framework specifically designed for Bitcoin and other UTXO ecosystems. The goal is to achieve secure, non-custodial vault management, multi-chain UTXO asset transfers, and permissionless interaction with Solana DeFi—all without sacrificing institutional-grade security standards. This will further enable institutions to convert previously idle Bitcoin and UTXO assets into yield-generating capital that can participate in on-chain returns, all within a controllable risk and compliance framework.

Blueprint for Institutional-Grade UTXO Infrastructure

In his keynote, Justin Wang systematically explained Zeus’s long-term technical architecture vision:

- Zeus App, as the user layer, provides Bitcoin minting, yield management, and asset operation experiences

- Zeus UTXO MPC, as the institutional layer, is responsible for secure custody and programmable UTXO asset flows

- Solana, as the execution layer, offers high speed, composability, and deep on-chain liquidity

This architecture aims to fully integrate Bitcoin—and eventually all mainstream UTXO assets—into modern capital markets and unleash their productivity.

Future Development Directions and Vision

With the official launch of the Zeus App, Zeus has moved from the product integration phase to broader ecosystem expansion. The next focus will be on building MPC tools and providing support for developers to foster more UTXO-native applications on Solana.

About Zeus

Zeus is a permissionless Bitcoin infrastructure dedicated to accelerating the development of Bitcoin’s on-chain economy and applications. By transforming Bitcoin into a programmable asset and introducing it into the Solana ecosystem, Zeus is laying the foundation for a secure and scalable Bitcoin financial system, unlocking new DeFi application potential for trillion-dollar-level assets.
