The Federal Reserve expects to lower the federal funds rate to the 3.25%-3.5% range by 2026.
Jinse Finance reported that a Reuters survey showed that out of 100 economists, 50 expect the Federal Reserve to lower the federal funds rate to the 3.25%-3.5% range in the first quarter of 2026; another 89 economists said the Federal Reserve is expected to cut the federal funds rate by 25 basis points to the 3.5%-3.75% range on December 10.
