Aave founder: ETHLend will be relaunched in 2026
Foresight News reported that Aave founder Stani Kulechov reposted Aave's 2018 user interface, stating: "The most interesting part is that the collateralized bitcoin at that time was real bitcoin, not any derivative. I promise to relaunch ETHLend in 2026."
The predecessor of the AAVE token was the LEND token issued by the ETHLend project in 2017. Initially, the total supply of LEND tokens was set at 1.3 billions. On September 18, 2018, ETHLend was renamed Aave and shifted from a P2P model to a P2C model, introducing the liquidity pool model.
