Trump: Zelensky Must Agree to the US-Supported Peace Plan
Jinse Finance reported that U.S. President Trump stated in a media interview at the White House that Ukrainian President Zelensky must agree to the U.S.-backed Ukraine peace plan, otherwise the conflict will continue. Trump recalled his previous conversation with Zelensky in the Oval Office, saying that he told him at the time, "You have no cards to play." He stated that Zelensky should have reached an agreement "a year ago, two years ago." When asked about criticism of the peace proposal, Trump did not respond to specific terms, only saying that if Zelensky does not accept, "then they will keep fighting," but the current scale of casualties on both sides "has not been seen since World War II." Earlier on the 21st, Trump had stated that he believed the 27th was the deadline for Ukraine to accept the U.S.-backed peace plan. (CCTV News)
