Ripple stablecoin RLUSD market cap surpasses $1 billion
According to Jinse Finance, citing CoinDesk, the market capitalization of RLUSD, the USD stablecoin issued by Ripple, has surpassed $1 billion in less than a year since its launch, ranking it as the 10th largest USD stablecoin. The token is issued by Standard Custody & Trust Company, with reserves in US dollars and short-term US Treasury bonds, and has already been integrated into Ripple's payment and liquidity system. The current circulating supply is approximately $819 million on Ethereum and $203 million on XRPLedger. Ripple stated that it has processed nearly $100 billion in cumulative payments, with RLUSD serving as the main settlement stablecoin.
