Foresight News reported, citing Bloomberg sources, that Canada is seeking public input on stablecoin regulatory rules and may announce significant updates in the federal budget next week. According to these sources, Canadian government officials have held in-depth discussions with regulators and industry participants for several weeks, but requested anonymity due to the confidential nature of the talks. They stated that the issue is expected to be addressed in the budget document to be released by Finance Minister François-Philippe Champagne on November 4.
