Billionaire Issues New Bitcoin Prediction, Says Crypto King Will Surge to $1,500,000 Per BTC
Mexican billionaire Ricardo Salinas Pliego says he believes Bitcoin will surge by at least 14 times from its current value.
In a new post on X, the Grupo Salinas chairman says BTC will rise to $1.5 million USD in a jump that would see the leading crypto asset match gold’s current $30 trillion market cap.
At that point, he believes Bitcoin will then begin to exceed gold’s market size.
Salinas is Mexico’s third-richest person, with his conglomerate Grupo Salinas spanning media, retail and finance.
He has been a champion of Bitcoin since 2020, now holding about 10% of his liquid portfolio in BTC.
A former gold enthusiast from 1980 to 2017, Salinas shifted views, calling Bitcoin an effective protection from government fiat fraud.
Bitcoin is the best performing asset in history.
Its price has surged 59.4% from $68,369 in the last year, 828.1% from $11,742 over the last five years and 41,370% from $263 in the last ten years.
