Chainlink launches its first native real-time oracle on MegaETH
ChainCatcher news, according to The Block, Chainlink has launched its first native real-time oracle on MegaETH, providing sub-millisecond market data to DeFi.
This integration embeds Chainlink Data Streams into the core execution environment of MegaETH, allowing smart contracts to read prices "just in time," reducing redundant updates and oracle latency. MegaETH positions itself as a high-speed Ethereum L2, targeting throughput of 100,000 transactions per second, and is designed for low-latency scenarios such as perpetual contracts, prediction markets, and stablecoins. Previously, MegaETH and Ethena launched the stablecoin USDm to subsidize sequencer fees; its ecosystem derivatives platform Euphoria has completed a total of $7,500,000 in financing. Additionally, Chainlink disclosed that its oracle infrastructure currently secures approximately $90–100 billions in TVL and has transmitted about 18 billions messages.
