Tether donates $250,000 to OpenSats to support the related ecosystem
Jinse Finance reported that Tether has announced a donation of $250,000 to OpenSats. OpenSats is a public charity compliant with US 501(c)(3) regulations, dedicated to providing financial support to contributors and projects that strengthen Bitcoin and promote open, censorship-resistant technologies. This donation will be used to support OpenSats' operations and grant distribution, helping it continue to fund various free and open-source initiatives, including protocol development, privacy tools, research, and education. Notably, OpenSats allocates 100% of its funds directly to recipients, with its own operational expenses covered by separate donations, thereby ensuring a transparent philanthropic mission.
