OpenAI's sales and marketing expenses increased to $2 billion in the first half of 2025
Jinse Finance reported that OpenAI expects its weekly user count to reach 1 billion by the end of this year, up from around 500 million in March. The company will also increase its sales and marketing expenses for the first half of 2025 to $2 billion, nearly double its total spending for all of 2024.
