Jinse Finance reported that a Portuguese man was arrested in Bangkok, Thailand, on suspicion of orchestrating a cryptocurrency and credit card fraud case worth $580 million (500 million euros). The English-language Thai newspaper Khaosod confirmed that the man is 39-year-old Pedro M. A Portuguese journalist vacationing in Bangkok first spotted him at a luxury shopping mall. Khaosod did not confirm Pedro's surname, but his profile and photos match those of Pedro Mourato, a well-known figure in Portuguese media.
