Jinse Finance reported that the European Central Bank announced on Thursday that it has selected a Portuguese AI-focused startup to help prevent fraud in its planned digital euro. The contract with Feedzai is valued at up to 237.3 million euros (approximately 278.7 million US dollars), and is one of several contracts announced by the European Central Bank on Thursday, aimed at advancing what it considers a key project to ensure the eurozone's financial autonomy and reduce dependence on the United States.
