Vitalik attends Japan Developer Conference: Ethereum's short-term goal is scaling, mid-term goal is cross-L2 interoperability

At the conference, Vitalik stated that Ethereum's short-term goal is scalability, aiming to increase Ethereum L1's gas limit while maintaining decentralization. The medium-term goal for Ethereum is cross-L2 interoperability and faster response times. The long-term vision is a secure, simple, quantum-resistant, and formally verified streamlined version of Ethereum.
