Kaito: Issues occurred in Boundless (ZKC) public sale allocation, promises to refund 120% of gas fees and make improvements
BlockBeats News, on September 16, Kaito founder Yu Hu tweeted that Boundless (ZKC) completed its first public sale allocation yesterday, but the user experience did not meet expectations. The Kaito team sincerely apologized for this and pointed out the main issues, including allocation delays, excessively high Ethereum Gas fees when using smart wallets, and wallet loading failures caused by traffic overload.
The allocation delay was caused by integration issues with partners, resulting in a delay of about 1.5 hours in token distribution to users' wallets. Some users experienced high Ethereum Gas fees during the initialization and use of smart wallets, mainly due to a short-term Gas spike on the Ethereum network and the consumption required for smart wallet initialization. The surge in traffic also caused website congestion, affecting trading and transfers.
To compensate users, Kaito will refund 120% of the Gas fees today to users who have already withdrawn or traded, and users who have not yet operated will also receive additional Gas credits, which can be fully withdrawn on Base. The team recommends that users check their smart wallets and confirm the refund before 24:00 (UTC+8), and Discord community support is available.
