Hassett: Intel to Receive CHIPS Act Funding, Government to Hold Equity
According to a report by Jinse Finance, White House National Economic Council Director Hassett stated that Intel (INTC.O) will receive funding from the CHIPS Act, and the government will hold shares. (Discussing the U.S. government holding shares in Intel and investments in other industries) This is a special case, but there may be more such deals in this and other industries in the future. The CHIPS Act funds are being disbursed as planned.
