According to a report by Jinse Finance, citing @DecryptMedia, the Estonian co-founder of the HashFlare Bitcoin mining scam has been sentenced to 16 months in prison. The U.S. Department of Justice is considering whether to appeal, as the sentence is far below the 10-year imprisonment sought by prosecutors.
