US Department of Justice Yet to Reach Verdict in Tornado Cash Founder Trial, Ruling Expected as Early as Tomorrow
Foresight News reports, according to crypto journalist Eleanor Terrett, that the trial of Tornado Cash co-founder Roman Storm by the U.S. Department of Justice remains undecided, with a verdict expected as early as tomorrow. One concern within the DeFi community is that, despite Deputy Attorney General Todd Blanche’s memorandum in April promising to end the so-called “regulation by prosecution” approach of the Biden era and to focus on criminals who abuse software protocols rather than the developers who create them, the Trump-era Justice Department is still pursuing the Roman Storm case.
