MAK surges over 50% in 24 hours following Bitcoin Alpha listing news
BlockBeats News, July 17 — Driven by the news that Bitcoin Alpha will list MetaCene (MAK), MAK has surged over 50% in the past 24 hours.
On July 16, according to official sources, the Bitcoin Lightning Network task system, Bitcoin Alpha, will launch MetaCene (MAK) on July 18. Eligible contributors can visit the Bitcoin Lightning Network after it opens to claim airdrops based on their Alpha points ranking. Further details will be announced separately.
As the only native acceleration solution and the sole stablecoin circulation channel on the Bitcoin mainnet, the Bitcoin Lightning Network has processed over 5 million on-chain transactions in just two months since its launch, with power station deposit pre-sales exceeding $900 million. Its task system, Bitcoin Alpha, encourages users to accumulate Alpha points by participating in Bitcoin network activities and development.
Previously, the Trump family’s crypto project WLFI integrated its stablecoin USD1 into the Lightning Network, making it one of the first native settlement assets. Additionally, according to HSBC, the Bitcoin Lightning Network has introduced UTXO Bundling and OP_CAT instructions via a mainnet soft fork, supporting native asset issuance and high-frequency transaction verification. Its on-chain processing efficiency is 1,000–2,000 times higher than that of the Bitcoin mainnet.
