The three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed
According to Jinse Finance, the three major U.S. stock indexes closed mixed, with the Nasdaq up 0.18%, the Dow Jones down 0.98%, and the S&P 500 down 0.4%. Chip stocks rose, with Nvidia up more than 4%, TSMC up more than 3%, and the Philadelphia Semiconductor Index up 1.27%. Most bank stocks declined, with BlackRock and Wells Fargo both down more than 5%, but Citigroup shares rose 3.7%, closing at their highest level since 2008.
