An Ancient Whale Still Holds a Dormant Address with 10,000 BTC Untouched for 14 Years
According to Odaily Planet Daily, on-chain analyst Ember has detected that an ancient whale moved BTC from three addresses that had been dormant for over 14 years today, with 10,000 BTC in each address. Through related addresses, another address holding 10,000 BTC, also dormant for 14 years and not yet moved, was discovered. This means that this ancient whale currently holds at least 40,000 BTC, valued at as much as $4.35 billion. The current price has increased 66,000 times compared to when the BTC was first acquired.
