Jupiter Core Working Group (CWG) Announces Dissolution, 4.5 Million JUP Fully Returned to DAO
BlockBeats News, July 3 — Jupiter announced on social media that, after a comprehensive assessment, it has confirmed that the original four-year mission of the CWG has been largely accomplished, given the DAO is now entering a six-month voting suspension and reset period. Although a few outstanding tasks remain, the current DAO ecosystem has evolved to a point where the initially envisioned core working group is no longer necessary—the CWG’s functional framework was designed for a DAO era different from today.
Morten will join the Jupiter team full-time as an Operations and Quality Control Engineer. Kemo will return to leading his project Radiants while retaining his status as a community member. The remaining members will complete their work handover within two weeks. The CWG has decided to return all 4.5 million JUP to the DAO treasury.
