Trump voices dissatisfaction over GOP infighting delaying the final vote on the "Beautiful Bill"

According to Jinse Finance, Trump has expressed dissatisfaction with the delay in the final vote on the H.R.1 bill (“a great and beautiful bill”) caused by internal conflicts within the Republican Party. Notably, Kentucky Republican Congressman Thomas Massie changed his voting position on the key procedural resolution H. Res. 566—from supporting (Yea) to opposing (Nay). This procedural resolution is crucial for advancing H.R.1 to the final voting stage. Despite Massie’s defection, the resolution still passed by a narrow margin, with 212 votes to 211. This extremely close result suggests that Republican leadership may need to renegotiate the bill’s provisions or make certain concessions to win back enough Republican lawmakers and ensure the bill’s eventual passage. If the bill’s content is amended, another procedural vote may be required. Once the House passes the final version, the bill will still need to be reconciled with the Senate—either through a conference committee to unify the versions or by having the Senate vote directly on the House version.
