Cetus announces restart at 9 AM today with liquidity pool recovery rate between 85% and 99%
June 8 news, the Sui ecosystem liquidity platform Cetus officially announced that it will restart today at 9 AM UTC+8. Users will be able to access all of Cetus's features, including trading, managing liquidity positions, adding/removing liquidity, and claiming fees and rewards. The liquidity recovery rate of the affected pools is between 85% and 99%. Cetus will allocate 15% of the tokens for compensation contracts, with 5% immediately available upon restart and 10% to be linearly unlocked over 12 months starting from June 10, 2025. The Cetus team stated that they have invested all available cash reserves of approximately $7 million and obtained a loan of 30 million USDC from the Sui Foundation to support the recovery. Meanwhile, the team is taking legal action in multiple jurisdictions to recover the remaining stolen funds.
