Bitcoin rises close to US$ 106 thousand and SUI, AVAX, NEAR and LINK also advance

Bitcoin has regained momentum after falling to $100.400 on Thursday, temporarily warding off the risk of losing five-figure support. The cryptocurrency has climbed back by about $5 to $105.589, up 1,41% on the day.

The appreciation movement gained momentum after the European Central Bank cut the interest rate to 2%. Despite the recent tensions between Elon Musk and Donald Trump influencing the market, BTC managed to maintain its recovery trajectory.

Among the highlights of the alternative market, the SUI token registered the best performance of the last 24 hours, with an increase of almost 9%, surpassing the US$ 3,25 mark. The strong appreciation occurred after a previous session marked by widespread corrections.

In addition, other cryptocurrencies showed significant gains. Ethereum (ETH) rose 0,53%, quoted at US$ 2.505,24, while XRP advanced 0,99%, trading at US$ 2,189. BNB is quoted at US$ 650,37, with an increase of 0,16%, and Solana (SOL) rose 0,68%, reaching US$ 152,26.

Dogecoin (DOGE) also performed positively, rising 5% and trading at US$0,1876. Cardano (ADA) has accumulated a rise of 1,23%, trading at US$0,669.

Among the assets that attracted the most attention on the day, Avalanche (AVAX) jumped 7%, reaching US$ 20,91. NEAR Protocol rose 6%, quoted at US$ 2,46, and Chainlink (LINK) rose 5%, reaching US$ 14,06.

With renewed optimism, the total cryptocurrency market cap has increased by over $50 billion in the past 24 hours, surpassing $3,38 trillion.
