Russian official: If Musk wants asylum, we can provide it
after Musk and Trump publicly quarreled, a senior Russian lawmaker joked earlier today that Russia might offer political asylum to Musk. "If he really (needs asylum), of course, Russia can provide it," said Dmitry Novikov, the first deputy chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs. Kremlin spokesman Peskov earlier said in a call with reporters that this dispute is an internal matter for the United States, and the Kremlin believes Trump "will handle this situation himself."
