Russian Official: We Can Offer Asylum If Musk Wants
According to a report by Jinse Finance, after a public spat between Musk and Trump, a senior Russian lawmaker jokingly suggested earlier today that Russia might offer political asylum to Musk. "If he indeed (needs asylum), of course, Russia can provide it," said Dmitry Novikov, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma's Committee on International Affairs. Kremlin spokesman Peskov earlier stated in a call with reporters that this dispute is an internal matter of the United States, and the Kremlin believes Trump "will handle the situation himself."
