Putin made it clear: Russia rejects Ukraine's ceasefire agreement for at least 30 days
Russian President Putin stated after hearing the report from the Russian negotiating team leader Mezinski that Russia will not accept Ukraine's proposal for a 30-day or 60-day ceasefire. Putin said that this move would allow Ukraine to catch its breath and reorganize its military. Mezinski reported to Putin that the Ukrainian side proposed implementing a 30-day or 60-day ceasefire first in the negotiations, with both sides using the ceasefire period to prepare for a peace summit. Mezinski said that Russia is ready to start exchanging 1200 prisoners of war with Ukraine from June 7th to 9th, which will be the largest prisoner exchange to date.
