According to a report by The Washington Post citing data from blockchain analysis company Chainalysis, as of 3 p.m. Eastern Time on May 28, the value of the top 20 cryptocurrency holdings in the United States was approximately $20.9 billion, including $20.4 billion in Bitcoin and about $493 million in other digital assets. These funds were obtained through criminal activities such as theft, fraud, and darknet market sales.
