US Fast-Food Chain Steak 'N Shake to Launch Bitcoin Payment Service Nationwide
According to Decrypt, the American fast-food chain Steak 'n Shake announced on Thursday that starting May 16, it will accept Bitcoin payments at its stores nationwide, allowing its over 100 million customers to use the world's largest cryptocurrency to purchase milkshakes and burgers.
As early as March this year, the brand posted a question on social media: "Should Steak 'n Shake accept Bitcoin?" and invited public figures, including former Twitter CEO Jack Dorsey, to engage, laying the groundwork for this plan.
