Top XRPL Developer Predicts XRP Price If Bitcoin Hits $250K

Popular XRPL developer Chris Dangerfield expresses strong optimism for April 2025, suggesting that the crypto market will no longer remain suppressed.

According to Chris, many positive developments are happening at the moment that could potentially end the suppression in the crypto market. He indicated that these developments might lead to a significant price surge for top assets, specifically Bitcoin and XRP.

Factors Fueling Chris’ Optimism

He expressed optimism about April 2025, noting that he is bullish about the month’s prospects for crypto.

Notably, the XRPL developer revealed that he recently met with an unnamed famous personality who issued bold predictions for Bitcoin and XRP. This so-called ‘personality’ predicted that XRP might reach $10-15 per coin and Bitcoin could surpass $250,000.

With XRP trading at $2.12, hitting the $10-15 target would demand a surge of about 371-607% from the current price. Also, for Bitcoin to hit the $250,000 target, it must spike 202% from its current price of $82,781.

Although these predictions demand an astronomical increase to come to fruition, Chris believes both are realistic. He emphasized that it is only a matter of time before the projections materialize. However, he seems uncertain about which of the assets between Bitcoin and XRP will first hit the targets.

Another reason why Chris is bullish about April 2025 is his ongoing development projects on the XRP Ledger. Despite not providing specific details about the projects, the XRPL developer emphasized that he is ‘super pumped’ about them.

Notably, Chris is optimistic about crypto potential in April 2025 due to positive predictions from a top expert and his ongoing technological efforts within the XRPL ecosystem.

Cryptos Underperform Amid Positive Events

It bears mentioning that the broader crypto market has not lived up to expectations over the past few weeks despite the numerous positive developments in the space.

In particular, the U.S. government has continued to support the industry and announced plans to move forward with its digital asset reserve initiative. This initiative involves establishing a Bitcoin-only reserve and a digital asset stockpile for altcoins like XRP.

Additionally, the U.S. is also making moves to establish a crypto regulatory framework at the federal level, with the country close to passing a stablecoin regulation into law.

Despite these positive developments, top crypto assets, including Bitcoin and XRP, have largely underperformed over the past few weeks. Chris attributed this underperformance to suppression, which he believes will end in April 2025.
