According to The Block, the Sei Foundation has announced funding for the establishment of a non-profit organization in the United States called "Sei Development Foundation", headquartered in Manhattan, New York. Its aim is to promote the development of Sei protocol in the US and support crypto entrepreneurs. The organization will leverage an improving regulatory environment to foster technological innovation and talent aggregation. Sei is a Layer1 chain that combines Ethereum standards with Solana performance, and since its mainnet launch in 2023, it has processed billions of transactions.
