OpenAI and Oracle plan to start deploying hundreds of thousands of AI chips from Nvidia Corporation in a newly built large data center located in Abilene, Texas over the next few months. This is part of their first facility launch and operation for the "Stargate" infrastructure project, which cost them 100 billion dollars. According to informed sources, by the end of 2026, it is expected that this data center will install 64,000 highly sought-after GB200 semiconductor chips from Nvidia Corporation.
