Vitalik: Considering migrating Ethereum to Poseidon hash to optimize zk-prover friendliness
Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin has posted encouraging researchers to participate in the Poseidon cryptographic analysis program. We are seriously considering migrating Ethereum to Poseidon hash to optimize the friendliness of zk-prover, so having more information about its security properties is extremely valuable. The deadline for applications for the Poseidon funding program has been extended until March 15, 2025.
