Aave Founder: Under the global economic restructuring, cryptocurrencies will provide a hedge for stock market volatility, while DeFi returns can hedge against bond market risks
According to The Block, Aave founder Stani Kulechov stated that Trump's tariff policy will trigger a global economic restructuring rather than a recession. He pointed out that the tariff policy will encourage the United States and other countries to increase domestic production, leading to capacity competition on a global scale. During this transition period, cryptocurrencies will provide a hedge against stock market volatility, while DeFi returns can hedge bond market risks.
Meanwhile, Solana co-founder Anatoly Yakovenko said that in the context of the United States facing a $2 trillion deficit, tariffs as a consumption tax may be the best option for reducing the deficit.
