The Cyvers report shows that in 2024, there were 165 threats to the Web3 network, causing losses exceeding $2.3 billion, a 40% increase from 2023. Of this amount, $1.3 billion previously stolen was recovered. Incidents related to access control (67 incidents) accounted for 81% of the $2.3 billion loss. Approximately 98 smart contract vulnerabilities resulted in total losses of $456.3 million.
