Santiment: There are 104 whales holding at least 100,000 Ethereum each, accounting for 57.35% of the existing ETH
According to Foresight News, Santiment data shows that there are currently 104 'whale' wallets holding at least 100,000 Ethereum. This figure is a historical high. The total holdings of these wallets currently account for 57.35% of all existing ETH tokens, valued at approximately $333.1 billion USD. Meanwhile, the supply ratio of wallets holding between 100 and 100,000 Ethereum has reached an all-time low of 33.46%. Wallets with less than 100 ETH have remained at a nearly four-year low point of 9.19%.
Santiment stated that "it's worth noting that the second largest market value is increasingly composed by DeFi and staking wallets; when the most important stakeholders continue to increase their holdings in a token, it usually remains as a bullish long-term signal - especially when it's an asset with nine years history where whales own the highest share ever."
