Microsoft shareholders have voted against a proposal to invest in Bitcoin. However, Microsoft's Chief Financial Officer Amy Hood stated at Tuesday's shareholder meeting that Microsoft has accepted cryptocurrency as customer payment since 2014. She added, "We have been thinking about the development of cryptocurrencies." So far this year, Microsoft's stock price has risen by approximately 19%, significantly underperforming MicroStrategy.
