Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer announces the issuance of $360 million convertible preferred notes
According to GlobeNewswire, Bitcoin mining company Bitdeer announced the issuance of $360 million convertible preferred notes to qualified institutional buyers through private placement, with a maturity date in 2029.
The company also granted initial note purchasers the option to purchase up to an additional $40 million principal amount of notes within 13 days from the first issue date. The sale of the notes is expected to be completed by November 26, 2024, subject to customary closing conditions. The funds raised are intended for data center expansion, development and manufacturing of ASIC-based mining equipment, as well as working capital and other general corporate purposes.
