Three major U.S. stock indices closed collectively lower
The three major U.S. stock indexes closed collectively lower, the Nasdaq fell 2.24%, this week's cumulative decline of 3.15%; S&P 500 index fell 1.32%, this week's cumulative decline of 2.08%; the Dow fell 0.7%, this week's cumulative decline of 1.24%. Among them, the Nasdaq, S&P 500 index are the largest single-week decline since September, the Dow's largest single-week decline since late October. Most of the large technology stocks fell, Amazon, Meta fell more than 4%, Nvidia fell more than 3%, Microsoft, Intel fell more than 2%, Apple, Nifty, Google fell more than 1%; Tesla rose more than 3%. Disney rose more than 5%, accumulating 16.21% this week, the biggest one-week gain in the last 24 years.
