Sotheby's concept art leader Meme token $BAN rose 175.5% in 24 hours, market value exceeded $200 million

Michael Bouhanna, Vice President and Head of Digital Arts at Sotheby's, personally launched the Meme token $BAN, which rose by 175.5% in 24 hours and exceeded $200 million in market value. Bouhanna emphasized that the creation of BAN was purely out of personal interest and had no affiliation with Sotheby's, and Sotheby's was not involved. He also pointed out that the growth of BAN was entirely driven by the community without personal intervention.

In addition, Bouhanna publicly clarified rumors online that he made millions of dollars in profits, stating that the relevant wallets were not held by him, and most of the value was not realized. In response to community concerns, he has destroyed 3.7% of the token supply in the creator's wallet, and the on-chain records are publicly available.

Meanwhile, Sotheby's will auction artist Maurizio Cattelan's work "Banana & Tape" on November 21, priced at $1 million to $1.50 million and accepting cryptocurrency payments.
