U.S. listed company Semler Scientific has once again increased its holdings by 47 BTC, bringing the total to 1058 BTC
According to reports, the US medical technology listed company Semler Scientific (SMLR) added 47 BTC in the third quarter, bringing its total holdings to 1,058 BTC. Since its last disclosure at the end of August, Semler has purchased these 47 bitcoins for $3 million, bringing its total investment to $71 million. The current value is approximately $71.4 million (calculated based on the current price of Bitcoin at $67,500), which is almost flat.
Company Chairman Eric Semler stated that he will continue to use operating cash and stock sales proceeds to increase bitcoin holdings and plans to explore more financing opportunities to expand his position. In August this year, Semler launched a $50 million stock offering plan and has sold 86,734 shares, raising about $2.5 million.
