Outlier Ventures Research Head: Speculation and DeFi to Drive Ether Network Activity if Bull Market Continues
Jasper De Maere, Head of Research at Outlier Ventures, said that on-chain activity in ethereum is likely to increase significantly as market conditions improve. This activity is largely driven by speculation as well as increased participation in decentralized applications.
As the market fluctuates, we're going to see a spike in on-chain activity in Ether, so there's obviously speculative activity and then dApp activity driving on-chain activity,” De Maere said. I would say it will still be driven by speculative activity, and dApp activity will be sustained by airdrops as many companies will be hosting token generation events (TGEs) and coming onto the mainnet.”
