Puffer Finance plans TGE for Q4
Puffer Finance has released its latest roadmap update. According to the announcement, Puffer plans to conduct a Token Generation Event (TGE) early in the fourth quarter of this year to launch the governance token PUFI.PUFI will serve as the governance token for UniFi AVS, UniFi Rollup and Puffer LRT. Additionally, Puffer said that the ecosystem continues to grow with more than 500,000 ETH currently locked in (TVL). More than 5,000 node operators have contributed to its decentralized infrastructure. Plans are in place to launch the UniFi AVS at the end of August, the first AVS to power a UniFi-based rollup and provide pre-confirmation for L2 transactions. The Puffer UniFi rollup test network will go live in September as the first atomically composable rollup, allowing users to instantly withdraw funds back to L1 within the same block. Puffer Restaking V2 is scheduled to launch in early Q4 and will introduce advanced features such as fast path rewards, globally enforced anti-slashing, and a 50% reduction in collateral requirements for node operators. The withdrawal system will open at the beginning of the fourth quarter.
