Filecoin will launch the second round of RetroPGF program in the fall of 2024
Filecoin announced that it will launch the second round of FIL-RetroPGF (Retrospective Public Goods Funding) program in the fall of 2024. The program aims to provide retrospective impact funds for the Filecoin ecosystem. The first round of FIL-RetroPGF has distributed over 200,000 FIL (approximately $1 million) to 95 projects. The second round will offer more funding, simplify application, voting and allocation processes, and improve user experience. Funds will be streamed through Drips on FVM. FIL-RetroPGF-2 will continue to cover multiple categories such as infrastructure, tools, education, protocol development, governance and products with a special focus on Filecoin data entry points, applications improving usability, FVM chain payment development, progress in protocol research and development cross-network connection projects as well as reliable tools like high-quality RPC providers browsers and dashboards.
