The liquidity protocol Ion Protocol has raised $4.8 million from companies such as Gumi Capital Cryptos, Robot Ventures, BanklessVC, NGC Ventures, Finality Capital and SevenX Ventures, bringing its total funding to $7 million. The new capital will be used to support and develop a native yield platform called Nucleus, aimed at helping solve the monetization issues of aggregation and application chains. This could potentially foster new decentralized application use cases within its ecosystem.
